Description
Sedum 'Matrona' is a delight in autumn when peachy-pink flowers appear on dark red stems above the clump of fleshy bronze-coloured leaves. With its soft autumn colours, this Stonecrop extends the flowering period in the garden. Rich in late-season nectar, it is a magnet for butterflies. Sedum likes a sunny spot. It is long lived, easy to grow and tolerates drought. Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 30cm (12").

1 x 1 litre potted sedum plant (62266)
2 x 1 litre potted sedum plants (T62366P)
1 x 3.5 litre potted sedum plant (58091)
2 x 3.5 litre potted sedum plants (T58092P)

How to Grow
Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
More Info
When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods and until the plants are fully established. Leave faded flowers in place; the dried Stonecrop seed heads make an attractive late summer feature. In autumn, cut back old stems and foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of ice plants. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.
