Description
One of the most floriferous and vigorous hydrangeas we've ever seen! The average hydrangea produces one bloom on the end of each branch; Hydrangea hybrid Runaway Bride® 'Snow White' boasts 6 large blooms along each branch! This is a truly fantastic specimen for big tubs and patio pots. Pure white, lace-cap flowers heads, flushed with pale pink, are produced from late spring and continue all through the summer on these fabulous plants.

How to Grow
Hydrangeas prefers a position in shade or semi-shade, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively, plant Hydrangea macrophylla in patio containers in ericaceous compost.
More Info

Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' is a particularly heavy feeder, but demands less water than most macrophylla cultivars. Feed and water regularly, but avoid waterlogging the soil.

Leave the faded hydrangea flower heads in place until the new buds swell in spring to protect the delicate buds from frost damage.

Prune the old stems after flowering, leaving the new growth in situ, as this Hydrangea flowers on new growth unlike most others. After pruning hydrangeas, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant. Caution: All parts of hydrangea will upset the stomach if eaten. The foliage may also aggravate skin allergies.
