Description
Ten years ago we could never have imagined a gerbera that could be grown in the border, just as you would grow a lupin! Now we're able to offer these 2nd generation hardy gerberas, with flowers that are twice the size of other hardy types. Plants are bone hardy and flower from June to October. Grow some this year, you won't be disappointed.

3 x 7cm potted gerbera plants (1 of each variety) (47371)
1 x 7cm potted Gerbera 'Sweet Dreams' plant (47372)
1 x 7cm potted Gerbera 'Sweet Glow' plant (47373)
1 x 7cm potted Gerbera 'Sweet Honey' plant (47374)
6 x 7cm potted gerbera plants - 2 of each variety (T55866P)

How to Grow
Pot up gerbera plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions. Plant gerberas outdoors in fertile, well drained soil in sheltered, sunny borders. When growing gerbera in patio containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2.
More Info
Feed and water gerbera regularly throughout the growing season. In milder parts of the UK, these Gerbera are hardy outdoors, if grown in a sheltered position and provided with winter protection during particularly cold periods. In particularly cold areas it is preferable to grow gerbera plants in containers that can be moved to a frost free position during winter.
