Description
Nothing spoils a summer evening in the garden like an attack of marauding mosquitoes! This dainty pelargonium with its scented leaves and lavish flowers looks fantastic planted in small tabletop containers, where the aromatic foliage will keep the mosquitoes away.

1 x 12cm potted geranium plant (KB2914)

How to Grow
When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days and transplant them into their final positions in containers and borders. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
More Info
Feed and water geranium plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. As the long stems increase in length, tie them onto a support such as a freestanding climbing frame, using soft twine to train them upwards. Pinch the stems back for a second time. Regular deadheading of geranium flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
