These double-flowered 'cranesbills' are absolutely stunning, and thoroughly deserve a prominent place in your borders. Five of the best for colour performance and ease of growing are featured here in this collection. Hardy geraniums - or Cranesbills will return with fresh growth every spring. Enjoy their sumptuous ruffled blooms all summer, then during late autumn, simply cut the dead foliage back to ground level. Height 20-70cm. The varieties included are; 'Plenum Violaceum', 'Double Jewel', 'Birch's Double', 'Plenum Caeruleum' and 'Summer Skies'.

How to Grow
Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or semi-shade. Position the bareroot so that the crown of the plant is just a few cm below soil level. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.

Water regularly until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous fresh growth. In autumn, cut the foliage back completely. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant ????
