Description
Fuchsia 'Rocket Fire' is a firework of a plant, producing an abundance of 3-coloured flowers throughout the summer. The dark rose-pink sepals are swept back to display ruffles of pink and purple petals that dangle elegantly from the well-branched stems. This is a strong growing variety with a bushy, upright habit. It makes a fine choice for patio pots and fillling gaps in borders, where it provides a long season of interest. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 50cm (20").

How to Grow
Pot up fuchsias using well drained compost such as John Innes No.3, and grow on in warm, frost-free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips while fuchsia plants are still small to promote bushier growth and more flowers. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period, before planting them in their final positions in patio containers and sunny or semi shaded borders.
More Info
Feed and water fuchsia plants frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to prolong the flowering period.
