This collection of miniature fruit trees allows you to create your very own orchard regardless of the size of your garden. The trees can be planted in patio containers, where their dwarf habit will limit growth to a mere 1m (3'3"). The Fruit Tree Collection includes a 30-40cm (1'-1'4") hardy Apple 'Golden Delicious' tree in a 9cm pot, which produces an abundance of golden-green, long-lasting fruit. What's more, 'Golden Delicious' is exceptionally easy to grow, making it a good choice for beginners. The collection also offers a 'Gala' variety of the same size, for those who prefer sweet, red apples. Pear 'Doyenne du Comice' is similarly compact and boasts rich fruit, renowned for their flavour. Plum 'Black Amber', too, is supplied in a 9cm pot but will grow into a heavy-bearing tree with a large yield of firm, juicy plums. Finally, the collection boasts a 30-40cm (1'-1'4") Cherry 'Sylvia' plant. This dwarf tree looks stunning in April and May, when its pale pink blossom transforms cottage and kitchen gardens alike into colourful, wildlife havens. Its fruit are distinctive and sweet, making for an unbeatable, healthy snack, pie filling or cake topping. Fruit Tree Collection includes one Apple 'Golden Delicious' tree, one Apple 'Gala' tree, one Pear 'Doyenne du Comice', one Plum 'Black Amber' and one Cherry 'Sylvia'. Height: 1m (3'3"). Spread: 45cm (1'6").

Feed and water containerised plants regularly. For pruning advice, please see individual product pages. Most fruits trees should be pruned during the winter months when the plants are dormant. However, care should be taken when pruning cherry trees to avoid winter pruning as this leaves cherry trees prone to silver leaf disease.
Plant patio fruit trees in 60cm (2’) diameter containers using a good quality compost such as John innes No.3. Alternatively plant them in any well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position. Plant fruit trees at their original soil level, firm them into the ground and water well.
