Description
Foxglove 'Excelsior Hybrids' produces tall spires of delicate, bell-shaped flowers with heavily spotted throats. The evenly-spaced blooms, in pastel shades of mauve, pink, yellow and white, create a spectacular presence at the back of borders, and make handsome cut flowers. Best known for its statuesque contribution to cottage gardens and woodlands, this short-lived perennial attracts wildlife with its uniform spikes of nectar-rich flowers. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow
Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged.
More Info
Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots.
