Description
Grown for its silvery-blue foliage, Eucalyptus gunnii 'Azura' makes a fine evergreen shrub for mixed borders. Its naturally compact growth habit is well suited to mixed borders and being grown as a specimen shrub in smaller gardens where, unlike its larger cousins, it won't take over! This showy Cider Gum is as hardy as it is manageable, resisting temperatures as low as -20C (-4F). Grow it alongside other silvery foliage plants and blue flowered perennials for an exquisite display. Height: 5m (16'). Spread: 2.5m (8').

1 x 2 litre potted eucalyptus plant (KB2693)
2 x 2 litre potted eucalyptus plants (KB2694)

How to Grow
Plant eucalyptus trees into any fertile, non alkaline, free draining soil that does not dry out. Choose a position in full sun with shelter from cold winds.
More Info
Feed and water eucalyptus trees regularly until fully established. Once established, eucalyptus trees are reasonably drought tolerant and will require less attention. Unless it is intended as a specimen tree, Eucalyptus will need regular pruning in early spring to restrict its vigorous growth. Cut back all stems to 3 buds above soil level or to a permanent low framework.
