Commonly known as Leopard's Bane, 'Little Leo' sums up this perennial plant's features perfectly. 'Little Leo' is neat and compact in contrast to some of it's taller relations which makes it perfect for the front of shaded borders. The custard-yellow flowers of this perennial daisy make a popular cut flower and it's also popular with pollinating insects too. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Leopard’s Bane in autumn.
Doronicum enjoys a moist, humus rich, well drained soil in partial or dappled shade. In wet soils Doronicum caucasicum may suffer from root rot, particularly during the cold, winter months. Improve wet soils prior to planting by adding plenty of grit and well rotted organic matter.
