Description
Cordyline 'Pink Star' boasts an explosion of arching, strap-like foliage in a sublime shade of fuchsia pink, streaked with darker burgundy variegation. Mature plants may bear panicles of cream flowers in early summer. This showy Cabbage Palm makes a fabulous feature in containers or sunny borders. A superb hardy shrub for providing evergreen colour and structure to a wide range of garden sytyles, from modern courtyards to traditional, coastal gardens. Height and spread: 1m (3').

1 x 9cm potted cordyline plant (KB1032)
2 x 9cm potted cordyline plants (KB1038)

How to Grow
Grow Cordylines on fertile, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well rotted manure into the soil when planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until fully established. Once established, Cordylines need little attention, but will require some winter protection should temperatures dip below-5C (23F). In cold areas it may be preferable to grow Cordylines in large patio containers that can be moved undercover during the coldest months.
